1. Fees & Payment
Term fees and the one-off new student registration fee will be invoiced by email after registration and are payable by the due date on the invoice. Free trial classes are not charged; if you decide to continue after the trial, you will be invoiced for the term.

2. No Refund Policy
All fees paid are non-refundable, including if a student withdraws or is removed from the class. However, if the student is unable to attend a class, we are happy to arrange a make-up class or a credit where possible (see clause 3).

3. Missed Classes, Make-Up & Credit
If the student is unable to attend a class, please let us know in advance by emailing team@nzwushu.co.nz. The student may attend a make-up class at another suitable class time within the same term, or a credit may be applied towards the next term's fees.

4. Class Schedule
Classes run during the New Zealand school terms. Term dates, public holidays, and any class cancellations or venue changes will be communicated by email or newsletter. NZ Wushu Academy reserves the right to make changes to class times, venues, or instructors with reasonable notice.

5. Health & Safety
As with any sporting or physical activity, there is an inherent risk of injury. By registering, you agree not to hold NZ Wushu Academy, its staff, coaches, members, or volunteers responsible for any injury sustained during participation in the class or use of the facilities. You confirm the student is fit to participate and all relevant medical conditions have been disclosed.

6. Medical Conditions & Emergencies
You confirm that any known medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements have been disclosed in this form. In an emergency, staff will contact the parent / guardian or emergency contact provided and, where necessary, emergency services. Costs for emergency treatment remain the responsibility of the student or their parent / guardian.

7. Photography & Media Consent
By registering, you consent to NZ Wushu Academy using photos and videos taken during classes on its website, Facebook, Instagram, printed materials, and other promotional media. If you do NOT consent to this, you must notify us specifically in writing by emailing team@nzwushu.co.nz. If we do not receive an opt-out email, consent is assumed.

8. Conduct
Students and their parents / guardians are expected to show respect to instructors, staff, other participants and their families at all times. NZ Wushu Academy reserves the right to remove any student, or ask any parent / guardian to leave, where behaviour is deemed unsafe or disrespectful, without refund.
